Biology

     Biology is the science that studies living beings and their origin, evolution and characteristics. Biology tries to understand the principles of organic life in any scale (microscopical and multi-cellular), and puts every living being in a kingdom order. In order to do so, a biologist must work using the scientific method within a great amount of fields (zoology, botany, anatomy, bacteriology, inmunology, astrobiology...) and has to be able to provide theories and concepts.

     In Andalusia, Biology (a term of five years) is taught at Jaén's, Sevilla's, Granada's, Málaga's and Córdoba's Universities. Biology has a great curiculum, and its minimum grade isn't far superior to an 8. Moreover, this degree owns a 73% of employability, and biologists are one of the most demanded workers in Spain* (Universia.net).

    A biologist can work as:

• Investigator (in every field of Biology)
• Renewable and non-renewable resources Adviser
• Theoretical Biologist
• Experimental works leader
• Etc

     The fields I like most about Biology are Astrobiology and Marine Biology, so that's what the next post will be about.
