Translation and Interpreting Studies

     A translator is a person who makes communication easier for two or more people that do not only speak different languages, but they're also from opposite or different cultures. In order to do so, they must be fluent in lots of languages and they must know these countries' traditions.
     In Andalusia, there are some universities such as Málaga's or Granada's ones that teach these studies.

     Personally, I think this might be a great career since I'm studying languages at High School and they're not a big deal for me. However, I'm not totally sure about it.

     A translator is able to do the following labours:

• Literary translator.
• Community interpreter.
• Conference interpreter.
• Localizer (adapt text and graphics used in a product or service from one language into another language, a.k.a. localization).
• Health or medical interpreters and translators.
• Etc.

      It takes about four years to finish these studies, and subjetcs like grammar, pronunciation, interpretation and modern culture are crucial to be a great translator, whose vocation is focused on communication in a urban range.
